Going, going gone!

Exhibitors: By noon on December 13, the first day to register online, 46 (of 66) booths have been reserved.  Exhibitors are urged to register soon and indicate if you would like to be placed on the waiting list.  There are 15 premium booths and only 5 standard booths still available.

Attendee Registration Opens Thursday

December 16, 2010 is the date.  Our registration process will be very similar to last year, but with a much more user-friendly interface.  A registration letter and instructions from the host committee was mailed to all clergy and churches on December 10, 2010.  Online payment options will include Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit card, Visa and MasterCard DEBIT  cards, and e-checks.  If you wish to pay by check, then print the Registration Receipt, make your check payable to Diocesan Council 2011 and mail both to Saint Stephen’s, Wimberley.

For complete details visit the Registration page.  There you will find an online payment explanation plus paper worksheets for Church and Individual Registration.

Exhibitors, Rise and Shine

Online registration opens at 6:00 am tomorrow (Monday, Dec. 13, 2010).

This year the business sessions, worship, workshops and banquets are just a short walk down a wide corridor from our hotel rooms at the Embassy Suites, Spa and Conference Center. The premium booths will line the two spacious, soaring corridors, and attendees will walk back and forth all day long! As in years past, our standard booths will be showcased in a separate room, Spring Lake, just as attendees enter the corridor. The hospitality area will draw attendees through the room in search of coffee, cookies and all those items displayed in the booths.

Don’t miss the fun, and register early tomorrow to get the perfect location.

Did we mention our host church?

Well we should have!  The Saint Stephen’s letter of invitation to clergy and churches was mailed back on November 8, and it says they feel like Secretariat.  Just a little curious?  A copy of their letter is posted on the Activities page.  Take a minute, it’s a good read.  But if you don’t have time, know you are officially invited to join them at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Spa and Conference Center on I-35 in San Marcos February 17-19, 2011.  Yes Mildred, we said Spa (more details on the Hotel page) not to mention the Tangers and Premium Outlet Malls right next door.  Bring your walking shoes.  Not need to leave the Embassy (except for the malls) as all events are under one roof.

Exhibitors start your engines . . .

. . . and check your mailboxes.  An invitation to exhibit at Council 2011 was mailed on Saturday, December 4, 2010 to all previous and potential Exhibitors.  This is the “year of the exhibits” as 36 premium booths line the spacious, soaring corridors leading to the business session.  Thirty (30) more booths will reside in the Spring Lake Ballroom, adjacent to Corridor A.  The hospitality area will be positioned at the back of the ballroom to insure a steady flow of attendees past these exhibits.  After all, who can resist our tradition of free cookies and coffee?  Online exhibitor registration will open Monday, December 13, 2010 at 6:00 am.  For complete details visit our Exhibits page at

Certification of Election

Council is official.  The 2011 Delegate Count, Certification of  Election form and letter from the Diocesan Secretary, the Rev. David Read was mailed November 17 and is now online.  David Read specifically encouraged you to store and save his letter and attachments.  Now that you’ve done that, but can’t remember where they are, we have a solution.  The Certification page of the website contains a copy of his mailing for download.  Also available is a Certification of Election form you can complete online (so we can all read it), save and print for signature.  Click here to go to the Certification page.
