Christian Formation

Sarah Kates, the chair of the Christian Formation Committee, said she is “one of the many passionate people in this diocese about spiritual formation.”

“I am asking you a rhetorical question – what do you want for your church in terms of Christian formation? You’re going to say, ‘We want to be relevant and engaging for all ages.'”

“We believe that all churches should have all the resources they need,” said Kates. The DWTX Christian Committee has over 88 years of experience combined and is ready to help, with resources and with digital curriculum, and “whatever you need.”

“We are building an online resource library as we speak – with curriculum that others have used and have approved. Lists of extra supplies are available referenced by the season in the church,” said Kates.
