#Godlyjoy Social Sharing

#GodlyjoyWhen addressing this year’s theme – The joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10) – Bishop Lillibridge said there is a difference between “happiness” and “Godly joy.” Happiness comes and goes as life’s circumstances fluctuate, but true “Godly joy” is only experienced when we walk with the light of Christ in our hearts, providing strength in life’s most difficult situations and the desire to share the joy of our Savior with others.

Beginning at Diocesan Council 2016 and throughout the year, you are invited to engage the diocese on social media with #Godlyjoy. This will serve as the official hashtag of Council and will represent our annual theme for the remainder of the year.

Share your thoughts, quotes, ministries, prayers, concerns, and bliss with #Godlyjoy, and connect with those around you and beyond. See the first example posted on Facebook below the diocesan social links.
