Each year just gets better and better!
Youth in Action enters its fifth year of service. Like Diocesan Council, this event has become a time of reunion, renewal and the business of the youth. And that business is, mission work!
Who should attend:
All students in 6th through 12th grade are invited to attend. There is much good work that needs to be accomplished, not to mention the fun of a weekend in the Valley.

Mission Projects:
In the works. The youth will be working on special projects for the Good Samaritan Center of the Rio Grande Valley in Pharr. More info to come.

- Friday – Feb. 17
7:00 – 9:00 pm – Arrival and Check-in
9:00 – 10:00 pm – Intro, Rules and Music
10:00 pm – Worship
11:00 pm – Movie
- Saturday – Feb. 18
7:00 am – Rise and shine, eat your breakfast, pack lunches, and get going!
8:30 am - Morning Prayer and Commissioning by Bishop Reed
9:00 am – On to mission projects
Of course the evening will be full of fun with Inflatable game madness and BBQ celebration - Sunday – Feb. 19
8:00 am – Get up, get ready, get packed and go to church.

What should you bring?
- Sleeping bag, bedding, pillow and towel
- Personal toiletries (not that you aren’t already beautiful)
- Backpack to transport shower supplies, etc to the shower
- Comfortable clothes for play and work
- Clothes for church on Sunday (no need to dress up)
- Appropriate work shoes (Closed toed shoes are a must for this work)
- Work or garden gloves
- A great attitude for service and play
- Your teddy bear or woobie (if needed)

What we need from you –
- Youth groups need adult sponsors (6-1 ratio) AND transportation for the weekend
- On line Registration completed with $30 payment
- Two REQUIRED forms available during the registration process or below. Please give to your sponsor, who will then bring to event.
- A MEDICAL RELEASE FORM (with a copy of the front and back of your insurance card).
- A LIABILITY RELEASE FORM
