Bishop's Box Lunch OR Women's Sharing Luncheon

Bishop's Box Lunch: (combined luncheon for ALL attending Council)
This box lunch will be served in the auditorium followed with a presentation by Baroness Caroline Cox.

As we deny ourselves the traditional seated luncheon at the Crowne Plaza,
the excess profits from the sale of these box lunches will go to help others who have so much less than we.

Living simply so someone can simply live.

Note:  Baroness Cox will also address the Council during the Thursday afternoon session.  Learn more about her work and the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust she established by visiting http://www.hart-uk.org.

Date Friday, February 22, 2008
Time 12 noon to 1:30 pm
On Site! open session at Municipal Auditorium
Price $15 (included in registration fee for clergy, delegates, alternates, clergy spouses, visitors and staff)
Speaker

Baroness Caroline Cox

Baroness Caroline Cox is known the world over for her humanitarian efforts that began in 1989. It was on board a truck during the dark and bitter days of Communism in northern Poland that she undertook her first mission as Patron of Medical Aid For Poland, transporting aid and medical supplies beyond the Iron Curtain. This was also where she had her first experience of what Baroness Cox calls "sharing the darkness" with people in need.

She is eminently qualified to advance Council's theme of
"Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me." (from Matthew 16:24)
